I’m late to the game but eurooptic is selling their uhd 10x42 demos for $1299. Kinda hard to beat that especially with the warranty. I was gunna get the HDs but that price made it a no brainer.

Keep in mind size will be the biggest difference To consider between the two.

The uhds are good but next level large.

Thanks, I see that and I noticed the extra 1/2lb but all the reviews I’ve read are pretty great and I’ll be using them for an Oregon horseback elk hunt in October and a meat hunt from a truck in Feb. I’m not humping too many miles so I figured they would be worth it. At that price, I figure I shouldn’t have trouble selling them for about what I paid.
I’m sitting on a pair of Viper 12x50 that I got on a great discount so if these are crazy big/heavy I can go with the Viper.

Sounds like good plan. The vipers make great backups and if you want a bit more zoom you’ll always have that option.

Likely will resolve close to same detail with the uhds. Enjoy.
