I hunted a new elk unit last fall that was some big open country and the trusty ol Leupold RX1000 struggled to even return a number most of the time. Heck, even when it worked it looked too green for my liking. Thinking I will relegate it to archery use and upgrade to a new one.

Any reason not to get a BR4? It’s within budget and seems to do everything I would need it to do. (Not looking for ranging bino’s.)

Thanks

BR4 would absolutely be my choice. It’s an excellent little unit.
