Ramshot Grand, and did it replace Magnum?

It looks to me that they took Ramshot Magnum off the New burn chart, and where it would be is where the Grand is located. They must of need to rename due to the new additives for reducing copper fouling and temp sensitivity. I wonder if it is a direct replacement or not? I use Ramshot magnum in my 300prc and 6.5prc with good results and still have around 26lbs. So I don't think I will be trying the new stuff for a bit or might pick up a pound and see the difference. I like tinkering but not burning barrels up that already shoot well. It's a love hate relationship I guess. I won't mind if the product is actually better but sometimes it doesn't work out that way. The old saying goes "Don't fix something if it ain't broke".

Grand and Magnum are next to each other in Hodgon's latest burn chart that I downloaded 6-26-2024. Likely same burn speed, different formula slightly I guess.
Hogdon owns Ramshot. Different descriptions for each powder but both also state great performance in 7mmRM. Hogdon Reloading Data Center loads for 7mmRM with 150,160,175 Partitions consistently show Grand shooting 200fps better than anything Hogdon sells. Their reloading center will show you all powders/load tests if you do not specify any brands or powders, using only caliber and bullet weight. A great utility for comparing powders. Uses a 24 inch test barrel also, so speeds listed are more attainable. Nosler also list loads for all bullets they sell, 24 in test barrel, listing 3 loads for several brands of powder and the most accurate load for each powder. Clearly shows best burn speed node for each weight bullet, at least in their test barrel. My gun shoots all 3 Partititions under .625MOA@100yds using 63.7 grains H- 4831sc in all 3 bullets. 3.290 COL to fit in my magazine. All are well under pressure signs in my gun. H4831 is in the best node for my gun. Considering buying a pound of Grand to try. Might be able to pick up another 100fps for the 175's. Bored, anxiously waiting for my guided bull hunt in NM in early October. My guide says he will call a bugling bull close so extra speed is likely not needed, but I like to be prepared for plan B! I have a virtually unused public rifle range 5 minutes away. Concrete benches. Midway and Graf's less than 30 minutes from home. Fun and easy to work up new loads. H1000 and N560 are back available. Grand and Magnum available. Magpro and N565 available. A lot of good slow burning powders to use now, just no slow Reloder or Retumbo yet.

Your chart is outdated from 2023. My post below has the latest Hogdon chart attached.
