I currently have a first generation Seekins Element in 7PRC. Considering buying the SLAM chassis or even upgrading to the new Element Hunter.
I love the idea of the chassis to fold up for hike in / out in the dark, day before season etc. But when I look at the height of the grip, it makes me wonder if this could complicate prone shots off backpack or short tripod. ie. could the grip contract the ground before buttstock and interfere with getting in a good position?
Has anyone switched to chassis and then regretted it over a more traditional stock?
