They are incredibly warm. I got them for late elk seasons when I'm hiking 5mi in the dark at 0-10F and need light layers, then have to sit and wait for the sun to come up and start glassing and would freeze to death without them. I live in a cold arse place, so they are nice for general winter outdoor stuff too.
