Product Report: Amazon's 2025 Upgraded Stainless Steel Smoke Generator
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0FJMD2Y84
Like many others here I have and do enjoy smoking some food dishes on my barbecue.
I have always used a Cuisinart smoking box to do so, but that requires using a lot of propane to get it hot enough for the chips to start smoking.
Recently a buddy suggested I might want to look into the smoke generators being offered on Amazon.ca
He noted he was using on and was right happy with it.
So, I had a look, and was both surprised and intrigued by what I saw.
Topping it off was the fact that by a simple click of the mouse, one could qualify for 50 % off!
Needless to say I decided to give it a whirl.
Package arrived a couple days back now.
Assembly was straightforward and easy.
The only downside is that the required power adapter / power bank was not included.
A quick run to Staples fixed that in a hurry.
Here's the digs:

Couple shots of the assembled generator:

Time to test it out.
This is less than a minute from firing it up, on FULL Bore (infinite variable motor settings allow you to set the smoke at whatever level you prefer). Stainless smoke tube simply goes in the rotisserie port on the BarBee.

We did chicken that first night (sorry - forgot the pix) and it turned out awesome.
Perhaps the most even and deep smoke I've had for chicken off the BarBee!

So, we tried a couple slabs of spring salmon last night.
Again, turned out excellent!

Looks like we've found a WINNER!
I am in no way affiliated with Amazon, but am rather pleased with this product so decided to share.
Cheers,
Nog
