You know Todd, I once had a fella boasting about how a polar bears teeth were designed for specific use on sea lions. That they were so special that no other bear had anything like the teeth of a polar bear.

I asked him where he heard such a crazy story! He ripped on me much like you are now. You see.... the internet is filled with all kinds of people from all kinds of backgrounds. So...... much like the fella who must have thought I was just some "wannabe" antagonistic poster on that thread, he really had no idea what the back ground of the people he is rude and disrespectful to actually have as their experience in life.

I posted this photo, which was easy enough, I had to walk 100 feet to my shop, pull the skulls off the shelf and take a few snaps. Then post them up and show him the clear dentition examples of Polar bear, Brown Bear interior Grizzly and black bear.

When you have 1000 skulls on display from around the world, it's an easy thing to do!

I own these pictures, I took these pictures and they have never been posted on any California forum. They were taken with film, not digital nobody has seen them on the internet before this, unless they were stolen somehow from me without my knowledge!

If you just cleaned this skull and it has not been dry for 90 days yet, how are the exact same pictures on the below forum posted on May 25, 2011 ?

scroll down half way through page 6!

I don't really know what to think about this thread. But the words complicated story make me very suspicious. I've been on a lot of hunts and have a lot of stories but complicated is not a word I would use to describe any of them. Makes me think poached, maybe killed in a zoo who knows. And if your going to post up a skull like that you better have a story about where it came from.

It does raise some flags when some incredible claims are made with very vague details. I think it's natural for people to be skeptical. Even if folks aren't skeptical, they'll sure be curious when world record type numbers get thrown around and folks will always want more details.

I'm curious to hear the explanation on how those same exact pictures ended up on a different website two years ago. Also, Jesse's hunting (the watermark on the pictures) is a California based hunting website. If they've never been on the internet before this, how did they end up with the watermark from Jesse's hunting (as well as the other website two years ago)?

JJHack uploads his photo's to Jesse's Hunting as they host members images. They're then watermarked when image links are cut/pasted and put elsewhere.

Makes sense. It does confuse the matter when he states "I own these pictures, I took these pictures and they have never been posted on any California forum."

They are my photos, I had not posted them to my recollection. The possibility exists I sent via PM to other folks that took the liberty to do so..

Other friends and family had seen them, and the hunter was sent photos via email prior to getting his skull returned. The photos were not evidence, nor were they a controlled substance! Or Illegal to posess. As I said earlier if they were on the internet they got there without my knowledge.

It's such a feeding frenzy over nothing. I wanted to share something I though was amazing. Live and learn. Guess who losses out with the collection of trophies here? Not me, I have them or the many pass through here

But with this reaction, it's just easier to keep this awesome natural history information to myself. If you thought seeing a simple photo was cool, imagine now what's not going to be shared.

Some of the skulls that came through this business were so amazing, a company in LA called
Kronen osteo made polyester resin casts of them and now sells the reproductions. This was a big part of our business for zoo animals and endangered species too. The selection of comparative anatomy skulls here is significant. It's likely one of the largest private collections in the world. Jay villemerette has the largest collection, Henry galliano owned nearly as much.

This was never intended to become some weird pissing contest. Too bad Todd, you can feel great about your disruptive nonsense here, but you just screwed everyone else out of having this unfold into an amazing series of spectacular trophy skull photos!
