WTS "Lee's Meat Buck" Reproduction Antlers

yep the Burris buck has a main beam of 30 1/8”

The biggest typical buck I ever saw I was lucky enough to pick up one of his sheds after watching him all winter. He unfortunately broke off his eyeguard that winter which was 3” matching his other side. He scored 97 broken. His main beams were 26” long which was well above average for the bucks in that area. Someone else found the other side so sadly the set lives apart. 🙁. I reached out years later seeing if he was interested in getting reproductions made but he sold all his antlers for cheap to pay for a drug habit. No idea where it ended up.

Tried finding the buck during the summer to hunt that fall. Years later found out he spent the summer and fall in Idaho, but wintered in WY.

Love big typicals!!!
Oh man that antler went to dog chews!

So even broken 97x2 + 23” IS (just guessing) is over 215! Big! Even if that’s just gross score.

Yep! That’s exactly what we put the inside spread at. I’ll dig around and find the pics. There were a couple Idaho hunters chasing the buck trying to not only kill it but find its sheds. And there were 5 of us across the border trying to find him in late summer with no luck. With social media these days I bet we would have figured it out. But that was in 2008 and it just wasn’t as popular as it is now.

I miss those days when SM wasn't involved in finding a buck! Let's get back to it.
