Pro/Anti-Hunting List?

gt, what I post is not meant towards anyone either. and I do understand that it may come off as a negative or defeatist attitude. I 100% agree with everyone here, and what guys are trying to do is correct, but the direction or method is wrong. when realizing how small our community is on the global scale, any attack on it from within can have drastic consequences. avoiding a small company that offers us the products we need just because they don't agree is considered an attack. you have to understand that a small company needs to agree with whoever holds the cards and that's not us. all that will happen is you may close that company and the big dog will move to the next guy all the while you lost product and hurt guys like us who work there. it's a double edge sword really. what I have found is follow nature, keep that little guy around as he's easy to manipulate. focus on the puppet master not the puppet, and when we are ready, we cut the strings.
its far easier to focus on small things but the only thing you will ever accomplish is well, small things. this fight goes deeper than you can imagine and sadly we are at the point where either we go deep or get out of the water.
here's a scenario for you to think about. if one day you say Exxon is anti so I'm not buying from them anymore. everyone else agrees and follows you. now you say great were making progress, right? wrong. here's why, what you didn't know was that the X gas station down the road was actually owned by Exxon but that info was buried deep and far. now, you were ok with paying a little more because that station had similar beliefs, so you actually gave Exxon even more money to fight us and, in the process, lost your cheap gas. (this of course is not real).

companies need to sell their products not take political sides, started with the boy scouts years ago...ain't gonna change anytime soon. Woke is here to stay sadly...

A few things I'd like to pick at here.

First, I think we can get the community to come to a consensus that we shouldn't be boycotting companies who simply don't agree with us. You may disagree, but I draw a hard distinction between disagreeing and despising us, e.g., SO owner and Trump voters. I also draw a distinction between companies whom don't support us and companies whom actively work to destroy the things we find to be important.

Second, I think small things can make an impact. Small skirmishes, attacks on supply lines can pave the way to winning big battles. Seeking out and feeding like minded companies can build up an ally that can have a significant impact. There's a parallels economy emerging that has been a small thing up to this point, but is on the verge of becoming a very big thing, from the Daily Wire, to BRCC, to Rumble, to the Parallel Economy payment processor, etc. None of these companies are perfect, God knows I've almost canceled my BRCC subscriptions multiple times, but they are all largely net positives.

Third, I think your final scenario is a great one. I do get your point that we need to be vigilant that we're not fooling ourselves, replacing bud light with corona. However, I think there is some nuance to discuss. If X gas station actively promotes hunting as part of their advertisement campaign we're making major progress. Exxon begins to lose money on anti-hunter stations and make larger profits at pro-hunting stations. Outside larger corruption, this will force Exxon towards the pro-hunter side of the fence.

With wokeism becoming the socialism pandemic that it is, I'd like to see a list of every company that is proclaiming normal people to be hateful, intolerant and anti-science when that actually describes themselves, in every way.

I just think it’s gonna take a lot of work to be that passionate and idealistic and you’re probably gonna end up not buying anything or doing anything

I'm not going to change my life for it, but some of the ones shoving it in our faces more and more on a daily basis are going to be a good start at least. Unless I'm mistaken Dick's Sporting Goods made themselves the poster child for this thread a few years back.

I read this thread and its confusing to see people gripe about having to look so hard for products that are pro hunting.
If you wanna see results its gonna be slow and its gonna take consistency. If you really care about hunting then go support companies that support your passion. Otherwise stop complaining. Me personally I buy from companies that support hunting and 2A when I can, and avoid the ones that dont. Sometimes certain purchases are unaviodable. But voting w dollars does make a difference. I.E. Disney/Netflix. Single purchases won't make a difference but a couple years worth of purchases can make a difference. And if someone feels like the gap is so big that their dollars won't make a difference - that means that we have to fight harder more than ever.
Just my philosophy on it...

It's kind of like the old saying. "All that's needed for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing." You may not have the will to care what these companies stand for, but the enemy does and that's why they're being pandered to by corporate America. If people don't begin to care there will no longer be an America left to hand over to our children. Unfortunately that's no longer hyperbole.

I came across this thread while doing some research on jetboil stoves. Here I found the American made MSR stoves. I have nothing against jetboil, but given the choice I'm going to spend just a few more dollars buying the American made windburner.
