Anyone have a good pre and post workout that they bring with them on there hunts? The last few years I’ve messed around with the Mnt Ops and Wilderness Athlete supplements for pre and post workout. Everything I’ve tried I fee like are just not that effective compared to some fitness geared supplements. The last 6 months or more I’ve taken my fitness more seriously and have come across a few that I feel really help more on the Pre workout side vs the post workout. Trying to see who may have a good pre workout to get the blood flowing even if it’s a little placebo effect and a good post workout to help repair the damage while sleeping.

I’m kind of in the same boat this year since I’m heading to Colorado for the first time this year. I’ve been a big weightlifter for years now and have always supplemented for that. My plan was Bowmar nutrition protein to mix in with my coffee in the morning. Makes it taste good and gives me some calories to start. Then mid day start sipping on some BCAAs. There great for muscle recovery. You can find them mixed with nitric oxide and caffeine which is what I may do. Look at Optimum nutrition or mts nutrition for those. Then probably just a high calorie protein bar during the day as well. Something like metrx.

pre for me is coffee and a solid meal. post would be plenty of fluids and a solid meal. maybe throw in a multi-vitamin and an electrolyte tab.
