When I see field photos or retail advertisement I’ve always assume that the individual in the photo is the one that harvested the animal. What type of person poses with an animal, insinuating that they were the one that harvested the animal? Then to have a retail company use it as advertising? Am I the only one that feels like this is deceiving and shows a total lack of respect for those that have worked hard to harvest a prestigious animal?

Jason Widaman

When I see an advertisement I'm smart enough to realize it is an advertisement, not a DIY'er story written for a magazine. I think the pictures in an advertisement are placed there to sell a product, not tell a story.

I also find passive aggressive douchebags that act like jr. high girls talking about respect quite ironic.

So, according to FWP's big game records the OP killed a goat in 2008 when, correct me if I'm wrong, KUIU was not yet released. In MT we have to wait 7 years before applying for any of the big three putting Jason at 2015 before he could apply again. This picture was posted two years ago.\

So, unless this goat was killed in another state we have a poser who just called himself a poser.

Now that is funny stuff right there...

This is more about a bash campaign than anything and this was the only ammo they had I guess.

Here's a couple photos of one of the best guides in the business. ...he didn't shoot theses rams either, but I hold clay at the highest level!

Wow!! Your comment pretty much solidified my decision to hunt with the Lancaster's. Do you mind if I mention you highly recommended him? Were the original NWT sheep pictures in the thread with him also?

As for the OP -- who cares? Dude needs to go find a hobby.

Hey Fellas,

I wanted to let you guys know that I really appreciate the support from everyone, but feel this thread has gone as far as needed.

All I want to focus on is my family, Kifaru, photography, putting animals on the ground and helping others in anyway I can with backpack hunting.

If a company feels they need to bash me to help promote themselves, then so be it..... I just want to focus on what's important and this isn't it!

I'm going to let the moderators know to lock this thing up.

Again, THANK YOU for the support and I hope to meet everyone that's posted on this thread someday.

Good luck this season

All of those photos were with Clay at NWT outfitters.

He's as good as it gets and I was lucky he let me tag along with camera in hand!
