Nobody cares anymore. The CJ system is a joke and is constantly being exploited. Two Honduras just killed a bald eagle in Nebraska and USFWS won't even pick up the phone.
I support this though. I wish I had enough money to lobby a hunting season on white headed vultures. MN native, the population is stable as bunny rabbits.

You wouldn’t think the criminal justice system is a joke if you killed that bald eagle, unless of course you are also an illegal immigrant, errrr….. undocumented sorry

We need more wardens and they need to be paid more. I spent several weeks hunting/scouting in a limited district in Montana and never seen a game warden. I think Montana only has one or two per county/district. Some of these areas cover huge roadless areas and it would be a dangerous job I’ve never personally seen poaching occurring and don’t really see many hunters where we go. It seems a lot of legal/illegal behavior stems from poor judgment or just not growing up hunting, like shooting extremely long distances, taking unsafe shots, shooting multiple animals, etc. I wonder how much of the wardens time is wasted on trespassing calls, or minor offenses. I don’t have an issue if someone was really wanting some meat, but these celebrity hunters and tv bs needs to stop. They are the ones stealing public resources. Preston

I've ran across 2 wardens in my life. One asked for my fishing license while fishing and another wanted to check my traps. I think he was disappointed I was legal. 😆 He was not the nicest feller in the world but our interaction was short.
