Place to Shoot between Bozeman and White Sulphur Springs

Wanted to check and see if anyone knows a place where people regularly go and shoot between Bozeman and White Sulphur Springs. I've found plenty of pieces of public right off the road along the way that we could use but didn't know if there was a place that people more commonly went to. Don't want to blast up someone's favorite winter range spot if everyone else that's local shoots on the next piece of public 5 miles down the road. Last year in Wyoming we found a piece of BLM that it seems most people would go and shoot at a common area. Trying our best to be friendly and respectful NR's while we are in town for our Elk hunt. Just need a place to shoot a couple rounds and verify our rifles are still sighted in after the trip. TIA.

I'm not local but my two sons are. I don't know of anywhere in that area but hopefully someone more familiar will know of something. We've shot at a piece of public (state?) west of Clyde Park a couple of times.
