Most of the time you can find them around lots of ant beds. Pretty neat animals have caught and released hundreds over the years of all sizes. Babies the size of a dime are pretty cute.

Yep, just a grouse. Nothing most of you haven't seen a pile of times.

But this guy hung out in my elk camp for nearly 8 days, following me around every time I came back in camp during day light. At one point thought he was going to come in the wall tent to warm up as he'd follow me and sit under the table my stove/water was on and watch/wait until I came back out. He helped himself to water where my jug slowly dripped. Was good camp company on a solo hunt. Was very cool as I was not in a spot commonly used by anyone and a ling ways form anywhere.

Gotta be quick on cats!
Caught them with bino's, had to set up spotter and phone scope to catch them. Originally seen a cat jump up on a stump at 1100 yards, got the spotter out and set up then seen momma and cubs wrestling, finally got on the one as they were moving off into thicker ground.

Our property is along a river in NW Montana, and we have a bridge to an island on the property. I installed a trail cam. About 80% of the captures are our dogs, and some random neighborhood cats and dogs, but we get wildlife visitors too. The last is one of our dogs wanting a selfie.
