Did a raft based late season mule deer hunt one time. Had this Ram walk down onto the beach with a bunch of ewes while we were packing up to get back on the water. Came in to about 5 yards or so, close enough I was backing up and putting big rocks between us.
Emailed the photo to the biologist when I got home, apparently a 6.5 year old ram based on the ear tag.

This guy walked less than 50 yards from my tent this morning while I was out scouting for ml elk this weekend. Was debating buying a bear tag, now I definitely am.
