I was thinking he was 'bout middle of the road. I know jack shit about bears though

He had about a 500yrd sq loop that he was making. Watched him make it 4 times before he give up on whatever he was looking for. Never seen that before

It’s always hard to tell from photos but he looks pretty good to me lol.

I’ve seen bears wander all over hell and gone, only to end up back in the exact spot where I first spotted them. Their movements sure seem random sometimes, but very deliberate at other times.

August 2015, I had a game camera set up for my up coming October AZ Coues deer hunt, had some really good pics of deer coming and going. Unfortunately never tagged out on any of the ones that were on my camera. Tagged out on a little dink…meat in the freezer.
In November of 2015, brought a buddy of mine up to see if he could his tag. While checking on my camera, found out it was shot (destroyed-completely shattered) and found a decapitated deer tied to a tree about 30 yds away, talk about getting the eebie-jeebies because it was so fresh. Called G&F and high-tailed it out of there. Unfortunately G&F never found out who did this and I’ve never seen any of these deer in that area again. I really hate poachers!!!!!

WTF!! I guess I understand why the assholes only took the head, but why do you think it was tied off like that? That just seems really bazaar.

G&F thinks they were baiting a lion or a bear so it wouldn’t drag the carcass off so that they can get a clear shot at it. For some odd reason, I thought I was in someone’s crosshairs just being there.

Here are two different Cougars that I came across on the same day while Bear hunting in August. Unfortunately Cougar season didn’t open until September 1st in WA state. The pics aren’t great it was a hot day with a lot of mirage. I haven’t seen another Cougar since.
