As I was on my way up to Western Kansas, I drove past this rain shower on part of the 6666 Ranch in Texas Panhandle. September 2012 and it had been a good year for rain and the wildlife.View attachment 379693

That's pretty wild/crazy/bold/gutsy for sure! I'm assuming that the PH aiming the 470 Nitro Express side-by-side is standing behind the camera-man instead of right behind the archer...if so, then that's the icing on the "bad idea" cake for me!

Those photos are precovid...specifically four years ago. We didn't do the Galapagos when we were there. Instead my wife and I went up to 11,152' in the Andes to Cusco, Peru for a few days, which was great (consult your primary care provider regarding preventative medication for altitude sickness...we were glad we did coming from sea-level here in AK). FYI, Lima and Peruvian Airlines were not on our five-star list. Perhaps you and your girlfriend could compromise and go to Bora Bora...totally laid back...look into it.
