A feral Billy spotted on a short walk today on the Big Island of Hawaii....actually they're all over the place here!

...and then a minute later an older Billy came out of the shadows...

I watched this South Texas buck eating the fruits off of Turkey Pear/Tasajillo Cactus one morning and took few pics. I have seen them many times eating cactus and cactus fruits....tunas but never eating fruits off of Turkey Pear.

It’s always amazing to me how well animals blend into their surroundings…

Many times on Kodiak I’ve had a black tail laying on a treeless hillside long before I spotted him. Thank goodness Caribou have white butts and moose racks turn white after velvet!
