Walked the shore with my 5yo grandson the other day and he got to see his first jellyfish in the wild...he's still talking about it (...and it appears so is grandpa LOL!).

It was a bit over a foot in diameter...watched it ride the mild waves in and out for a few minutes before it moved itself back into the bay.

From the Colorado high country this week 12000 ft

It always amazes me how different high elevation places in the lower 48 look compared to that same elevation in Alaska during the same season. This picture was taken in early June of last year at around 12,000’ elevation.
