Spent two days in a situation like that last year in Wyoming chasing mule deer.

On the way back to the truck after a successful Cougar harvest

Chased turkeys last night and this morning. Saw two, but those bastards are sneaky. Coyotes on our island mean that gobblers don't gobble, and they run from calling. I put a long sneak on and got in position to intercept two Toms feeding along the woodline, but they moved faster than I did. When I stepped out, they were far to the left and flew into the trees. I had better luck sneaking up on deer, which I did for remainder of the evening.

Shooting the M40 out to 500 meters. The does where hanging out at 400 Meters.

The old accurange reticle actually works pretty well. They where about 50 yards shy of 400 and the two bars bracketed the doe from back to belly and showed 350.
