This is actually at the Alaska Conservation Center. My guess is that some kid lost his shoe while watching the bears from an elevated viewing walkway. That or the bear ate a kid. Hard to say really.

This is actually at the Alaska Conservation Center. My guess is that some kid lost his shoe while watching the bears from an elevated viewing walkway. That or the bear ate a kid. Hard to say really.

I have the same bear, with evidence that it ate the poor child! taken about a week ago....

Could be this one but he's too cute and innocent to eat children. He just want's someone to sit on his lap and feed him blueberries all day long.
