I’m about to take that same plunge and I think I’m gonna do Catfish Customs after some research. My shop orders them (I was considering ABB Launch) & they seem to have great reviews.
Bowtech?
The amount of bend the cams put on the cables are very prone to serving separation.
Shouldn't happen, just saying it does make it difficult. Anyone selling the strings should know which ones are problems.
You probably have something by now, but the couple sets of jbk that I have had have been the best I’ve had.So I need to replace the strings on my bow. Way over due. Give me suggestions, and best place to get them. I have a press and will do the work myself. Ive been pretty out of the archery world, other than just shooting what I have, for quite some time. So I really dont know whats out there, good or bad.
I looked at 60x briefly, and have read a little about JBK. Thats about the extent of my new string knowledge at this point.
Thanks in advance!
My last 4-5 sets have been ABB (pse, prime, and mathews bows) and have not had any serving problems at all, might even be my last 6-8 sets have been ABB.My last 2 sets have had real bad serving separation issues; you getting that on any of your strings? My Gas strings also had real bad serving separation, so maybe it's not just an ABB thing.
I had peep twist issues on multiple strings. I stick with BCY now.Anyone using the Bloodline material? I know Catfish and Phantom builds strings with it. Now that it’s been out for a few years I’m curious to hear what those who have been using it think of it.
