Yeah, I'm a sucker for punishment but I'll take what I think I'll use. Here's my daily loadout from a bear hunt back in October in Colorado. I didn't take the wide angle lens but I took the zoom and telephoto along with the teleconverter. What's nice is, depending on the hunt, this setup can be used as it's own spotting scope too.
Here is an example from last summer in Alaska. I was just sitting in a camp and a guy said he saw goats in the mountains behind us the night before. So, I set up the camera (I didn't have the 1.4x teleconverter at the time) and I was able to spot them way the hell up there. Granted, a 65x Swaro 85mm beast would be much better but it works when I don't need a spotter.
Goats were on the little \ in the snow on the second peak from the left.

Man, I will need a bigger pack for this haha. My kit is a lot like yours, except Nikon.
What does the 300 (looks like you have a 300) focal length equate to for a spotting scope?
I posted this one on Instragram with a reference to the "Rainbow Connection" I wonder if anyone here gets that or if I'm just dating myself too much.
