Artie Garfunkel. Exceptional hiking/adventure companion and very well behaved in the outdoors. Absolutely terrified of guns, but we do work on it a little bit. Has a long successful mousing and gopher spree at work (still no luck with his sworn enemies - the squirrels). Twice has found and brought a shed antler, and once retrieved a chukar from approximately 6ft away. The imperfectly perfect compromise between the wife's "must be a small lap dog" and my "big sporting dog" demands.
