Just received this from my smith today. Bastion, LP fuzion ti, 20in benchmark carbon 6cm, hawkins hunter dbm. 5.75# with the muzzle mount for my can. I like the stock. Action needs time to smoothen out and break in.

I have both of their offerings in LH. I really like the black tooth. Very light and no issues. The hex pad seems to work as well. The Apex I have in .300wby is enjoyable to shoot. I will say that the pad seems to deform though when the rifles are stored muzzle up but return to normal after a little time. I store mine muzzle down for space saving in the safe they’re in. I would by one for restocking a rifle and likely will at some point.

I hope my Blacktooth green and grey comes out as good as yours did! I plan on adding a light bit of tan to mine when it comes, but was only available in two colors, I too went with the green and grey. Going to go with a 24" "4 stn stl barrel, hoping for around 6.5# on mine without glass, the Leica Amplus6 3-18x44i is waiting to top it. Enjoy.

Does the Black tooth have a traditional swept grip or is it a little between traditional and vertical?

The blacktooth is a classic swept grip with a gentle palm swell, kinda like the McMillan classic hunter has. I like classic.

Have the black tooth really like it put an area 419 Arca plate and a hatch Picatinny on it works fine light and comfortable. Great customer service.
