Any cigar guys in here?

Anyone else packing a small humidor in their hunting packs? Plus a single Padron in their kill kits? Maybe a Cigar holder to clip onto the glassing tripod? Or an Ultra light cigar stand?

There's just something about forcing yourself to sit down and enjoy a cigar especially on these summer afternoons. Or helping to pass the time while glassing.

Currently got a Rojas breakfast taco. Pretty dang good!

Usually try and snag Diesels off cigar bid for cheap smokes. Or Rocky Patels or Oliva G. Any Maduro. I've tried lighter stuff but I think my ADD tries to smoke them too fast so they always taste like tar.

Do you smoke your cigars while at pint night in your matching Kuiu outfit while telling epic stories?

I keep a small plastic humidor, around 10-20 cigars

My favorites tend to come from Illusione and Tatuaje.

If we include Cuban, the Partagas Series D hits the spot for me, but, sadly, enjoyed last of my stash of those a couple years ago.

I like meduro varieties of CAO, Perdomo, and Ashton along with others.

Pipes are a better way to take a quantity of good tobacco into the mountains from a weight perspective as you don't need a humidor and the tobacco goes further.

I enjoy both pipes, cigars, and half decent whisky ($80-150/bottle, nothing really fancy). I've cut back significantly on all three as I would rather spend money on things that don't degrade my health and performance.

I used to enjoy a pipe, but smoking anything at all about 40 years ago. Sometimes I miss it. I won't give up my single malt tho....love to drink it while sitting at the campfire!

How else would a man call the wind? A nice light Connecticut wrapper for calm wind days. A Cameroon for the steady state windy days. And a dank double maduro to read those brutal cross-canyon currents out to 800 yards. I’ve been told my choices are, frankly, “too much cigar”, but that really only applies if you can’t handle the whallop.

For any aficionados near Cheyenne, the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival is moving from Colorado to Cheyenne and is scheduled for Aug. 1, I believe. Tickets get a premium sampler pack. They expect about 2500 attendees. Will go and check it out since I've never been to one.
