Yeah, with the adapter shortened about 1/4” from what I have on my rifle (did this for another member), you can really only add a 3/4” thick pad or so to get to the same LOP as the stock setup.I'd love to change out the pad, but dont want more LOP. Excellent idea here, I had something simialr in mind when I first got the Bastion.
I’m game to try… just let me know what you need.I can start sending them any time now, just not 100% sure they’ll be perfectly flush at the bottom edge since the profile may be slightly different from stock to stock. What I did on the second one I sent out was to add .5mm all around and then it was just sanded to fit flush.
So you can keep oem LOP if I use say a 1/2" thick pacameyer 500B pad?Yeah, with the adapter shortened about 1/4” from what I have on my rifle (did this for another member), you can really only add a 3/4” thick pad or so to get to the same LOP as the stock setup.
Yeah you should, at least within a couple millimeters. Here’s the stock pad:So you can keep oem LOP if I use say a 1/2" thick pacameyer 500B pad?

Has anyone tried one of these on a Blacktooth yet?
Thank you very much. My rifle won’t be finished and in my hands until June-ish. If it is not the same recoil pad, I’ll definitely take you up on your offer. Thanks again.I’ve only sent out 3 so far, nothing fit up so far but one is probably only now arriving. I’m assuming it’s the same recoil pad, but we should be able to check the profile. I can send you an image file that can printed 1:1 and then wrapped on the black tooth stock to see if they match up.
Looks great! Did you end up sanding off the extra .5mm?Just fit mine up. Hardest part is getting the old recoil pad off. Everything else was easy. LOP came out at 13-3/4 as requested. Tikka superlite in Bastion 5.36 lbs bare rifle with this adapter.View attachment 1009705View attachment 1009706
