I know they are a brand new company but I am very impressed with the pack and it's design. Just curious if anybody has had any time in the field with them and if so what your impressions are. Because they are new I am finding very limited information out there on reviews. Of the two I have found they are pretty impressed with them. Any info or experiences with these packs would be much appreciated. I have been looking at Kifaru and Paradox and I really like the material, X PAC VX33 for the multicam, that is used on the bags for Paradox. I read that it is very similar to the material that is used in sails for sailing. (Tough).

Thanks for the welcome and info SHTF. I am beyond excited at finding this forum. The wealth of information and experience here is incredible and much appreciated.

If you look at I believe it to be sreekers posts he has some time with one as well. I believe he was a tester for one of the first packs out.

Yes, i got pack number 3 or 4 off the sewing table. Its a good pack, i have a review coming out in December on 24hour that covers it as well as a few others.

Feel free to shoot me a p.m with the answer to this question.

Just curious if your testing is pro bono or if you have any monetary interest in the review. Im looking forward to your full review regardless, there has been some talk on the packs and the company itself. Very excited for the full season review!

Thanks for the link Hammer. Sreekers I am def looking forward to your review. I keep going back and forth between Paradox and Kifaru. I know they are completely different packs. Kifaru has a wealth of info and reviews of course with their products but they've also been around for a long time. But everyone has to start somewhere and it looks like Paradox is going to give us consumers something else to think about. Can't wait for the in depth review. any idea in december when it will post Sreekers?

Hey Aron I from Lubbock, TX up in the panhandle south of Amarillo. Wishing I was living near your neck of the woods.

I am away from my comp and out of town right now so cant really type that much on my kindle. Shoot me your cell and i will give you a call.

Archelk,
Off topic, but you wouldn't happen to be that firefighter with your dog that I gave a ride in the back of my pickup on my way out of the Weminuche this summer?

I've got a tester here. First use will be an overnight elk hunt with my 10 year old this coming weekend. So I expect, with a 10 year old in tow, old Dad will be carrying more than normal for a 2 day trip... interested to see how it carries all day with a load. As a longtime Mystery Ranch and Arcteryx user, I gotta say, the weight of this thing is impressive!

Hey Chindits it wasn't me but I bet whoever it was appreciated the ride out.
Wrongside if you don't mind giving me your impressions when you get back. You can PM me if you want. Curious as to what rig you are carrying? (4800 or 6300) and what kinda weight you packed in and if successful with your hunt what kinda of weight (meat, etc) you packed out. I ordered their Day Talon in Multi-cam which is a VX-33 material I believe just to get a sense for it and to see how well the stitching etc. is.

I cancelled our trip, as we are in the middle of a rather nice blizzard. I'll let you know, once I've had it out on a few trips. We will be elk hunting till Christmas, if we can't seal our tags earlier!

So far, the quality and stitching looks very good. The design is different, for sure, but pretty light and versatile. It does seem to carry weight well, in limited messing around with it. Max of 40 pounds so far.

We shall see... I may never leave behind my MR Grizzly!

Wrongside hit something, the Paradox is very different. After you get over how different it looks the performance can really show. The pack is built around function, and if you are after that it is a great offering.

I agree with sreekers on that. I almost gave up on it because I was used to more traditional designs but 3 deer and half a bear later I'm glad I didn't.

Ams what bag set up are you carrying on the Evolution frame? The 4800 or 6300? Any pros or cons you would mind sharing with us on the pack? Yes I'm really forward to Sreekers review of the 4 different packs. I am wanting to order one ASAP but I keep telling myself I need to wait for the review. Sreekers were you ever ale to pack an animal out with the Paradox. I read where it was a time crunch because the pack had to be sent to another tester. Thanks
