Hey All,

Since Kuiu wont sell me just a lid for ny 3600 Pro, I am forced to look at other brands. All the larger packs are too big fir my needs.

Has anyone ever succesfully used another brands lid? How did it go and was it useful?

One of my options was to buy a Kuiu HD zip dry bag and strap it to the exterior. Problem is im unsure on the durability as they are designed for internal mounting. Anyone tried this before? Kuiu used to sell a accessory bag for their packs but that is now discontinued.

I had a look at them. Heard they are quite noisey? Donyou have any experience with them?
Looked at a few at a show recently. Well made and the fabrics are a little louder than cordura but wasn’t something of concern (maybe if you’re WT hunting).

Thanks for your input.
Down under in Aus I hunt Sambar deer. Super hearing and sense of smell. Extremely elusive and difficult to stalk which is exactly why we do it.
I am sure I can make the seek outside work somehow. Was also looking at SG lids.

I’ve looked at the Eberlestock EMOD lid for my 3600 pack.

Currently, they have a few camo patterned ones in their outlet. Some of their camo packs are actually a material that is much quieter than the standard 500d cordura. Not silent, but much better. You could reach out to customer service and ask.

I took an EXO K2 lid and fit it to my Kuiu 2300 and 4000 bags. Could probably do it with a K3 lid if you could find either. Just need to look at attachment points on your bag and then where you can add clips/mounting points on the lid.
