Yeah. It's been a long fight.

You should see the heated debate because we went from a rifle deer opener on Monday to the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Some people (fogeys) are apopleptic over it.

Overall, I think PA Game Commission has done a pretty good job with the initial compromise on this issue. I think that compromise working well and helped the Sunday hunting cause.

Don’t care what ya “ feel” that’s one of the main reasons I moved years ago. Terrible law imo.

Moving to the South opened my eyes to how backwards the north east is. Libtard central. I never go back, but feel bad for family and friends that are stuck there.

What a strange, archaic law. How about no golfing on Sunday? No yard work on Sunday? No watching sports on Sunday? No shopping on Sunday? No wahing your car on Sunday. You apply this to anything else and the absurdity quickly reveals itself.

I really dont have an opinion about the sunday hunting thing either way. I am glad there are lots of people excited that it will likely happen. Should be good to get more people out that have busy weekends.

That said, i think there is some wisdom in the fact religion and family have gone together for a long long time. Fathers are overwhelming the ones that foster and promoting hunting to the next generation. I dont think people need to be confrontational to the PA hunting and farming crowd that is not for sunday hunting. Looks like they are going to take the L here. Just leave it that. Sunday hunting will happen, no need to rub it in their faces.

People also work Monday through Friday so that just leaves one day per week to hunt and most of the Northern states have very short seasons, so it definitely restricts opportunity.

A law that makes it illegal to have fun on somebody else’s holy day is not a lib-tard law. It’s a conserva-tard law. I generally don’t like tard laws of either stripe. Or tards for that matter.

Go ahead and have your holy day… it’s a free country. Right up to the point where you pass laws forcing me to observe it. Then you’re impinging on my freedom of religion.
