I emailed them about their chassis lop and they replied promptly

I can weigh then tomorrow and reply, definitely not light even with flutes but I expected that. During Oct and Nov I sent 2 inquiries via the form, one on a lead time update and one on a technical question, neither got responded to other than a generic 'our online contact form is broken', email us directly', and then the barrels showed up 3 days later. Hopefully it's fixed on the contact approach and I hit the broken form stretch, currently looks like there is just their email on the site and there is no phone number available, but have seen multiple people say they call you. From the 45 mins or so of forum research I did before buying reports are they shoot fine.

I revieved my 6 cm barrel. I got the straight taper and it came with barrel nut. Haven't tried installing it yet as I don't believe it will fit in my stock and I'm planning to have it turned down.

I ordered 2 of their barrels from their previous website configuration options back in Sept when they were 50% off, straight contour (no taper, 'truck axle'), it was their only contour available then. I ordered the Savage/Zermatt threads, these came with a barrel nut but it seems to be a special/custom design nut where the front part of it passes over the widest part of the barrel and stops on an internal shoulder. A standard savage barrel nut or other aftermarket savage nut (I checked both) is not large enough diameter to spin past the widest part of the barrel. I have not screwed these on an action yet to see fit or shoot these yet, but 1) these came with a nut and 2)the nut looks specific/required for this large diameter contour barrel. I'm not sure if the new contours or configs include the nut but assume so. Other than email updates on my orders, I tried contacting support for questions and got no responses other than them emailing to say their website contact form was down. Other research I did before buying seems to be they are not really responsive to questions and maybe only to quality issues.

For the straight/no taper fluted from the pics above(the profile available back in September), I only have a non calibrated bathroom scale that reads to 0.2 lbs (engineering disclaimer on accuracy) ...the 20 inch 6CM is 4.6 lbs with nut and the 24 inch 300 prc is 5.6 lbs with nut

Dang those are heavy. Anyone know a rough cost to get them recontoured. I’d be surprised to see a mtu fluted under 3.5 lbs.
