I think the company outlier is affiliated with arken scopes so who knows how the quality will be but they have 30% off right now on whole site. They also have chassis. May make for a decent budget build to fool around with. I ordered a 18" 6 creed prefit for my solus for $189 shipped. Only mtu and bull contours available but for that price it leaves room to have a smith recontour it. May be worth a look for someone.

Anybody tried them? I did some reading a while back and it seemed like they might be ok

I bought a 6mm 16” MTU blank. For 100.00, hard to pass up.

Have a few different guns it might end up on, Most likely a 6x45

Ya, man would be nice with some lighter profiles. Their chassis look I interesting as well. Wonder how this stuff is. Google magic shows kinda mixed reviews.

Anyone receive their barrel yet?

I changed my order to 6cm remage to go on a 700LA from my first rifle

From Outlier when I asked about their MTU contour:
"The chamber diameter starts at 1.23", and the muzzle is .93", for a 26" barrel length. The muzzle enlarges as the barrel length shortens. If we can clarify further, please let us know. Thanks!"

not a whole lot of details on their website. I'd assume they're all barrel nut style barrels? And don't come with a nut? Lead times are pretty decent...

I ordered 2 of their barrels from their previous website configuration options back in Sept when they were 50% off, straight contour (no taper, 'truck axle'), it was their only contour available then. I ordered the Savage/Zermatt threads, these came with a barrel nut but it seems to be a special/custom design nut where the front part of it passes over the widest part of the barrel and stops on an internal shoulder. A standard savage barrel nut or other aftermarket savage nut (I checked both) is not large enough diameter to spin past the widest part of the barrel. I have not screwed these on an action yet to see fit or shoot these yet, but 1) these came with a nut and 2)the nut looks specific/required for this large diameter contour barrel. I'm not sure if the new contours or configs include the nut but assume so. Other than email updates on my orders, I tried contacting support for questions and got no responses other than them emailing to say their website contact form was down. Other research I did before buying seems to be they are not really responsive to questions and maybe only to quality issues.
