Outdoor edge replacement blades suck!

Found this on amazon for anyone wanting a piece of ceramic. 0.8 oz from what I'm finding.

I found some older OE blades at my father's house last fall, and it was night and day compared to the Amazon blades I have been buying the last few years

**update** I emailed outdoor edge customer service and told them about my experience with poor blade quality. I got a same day response and they asked for a little bit of info about where I got them. I replied and got another immediate response with an apology and a notification that some new blades were in the mail to me. Pretty happy with the customer service. Time will tell how the new blades do.

Good to hear they will be taking care of you.

I have the 3.5 edc I think it is called and have had it since 2021 or so. I must be lucky--its scary sharp and after use, I just touch it up with a steel rod and its scary sharp again. Best knife i ever owned.

I've noticed that some blades will be sharp and last. Others are junk out of the pack. This can be in the same package so I don't think it matters where their from.

Same here, I carry a 1/2" x 1/2" orange hone with me. I drag the blade away from my so I can see the cutting edge is flat against the stone. Works great. Have not needed to buy blades. Still using the originals.
