This is currently called the “camera plate” but it can also be attached to spotters. I can’t remember which I had it attached to. Works great. Sold the tripod/panner last year but forgot about this little guy.
Condition is fantastic.
The extended 1/4x20 plate gives you that little bit of extra room under your spotting scope, or camera to be able to tighten and loosen the wing nut on your tripod head.
