Ordered Myself a New Bow

Put a order in for a Hoyt Defiant 34 in Ridge Reaper camo. Being a lefty it'll take about 8 weeks per my shop. I've already got enough carbon bows, and didn't want to have to wait, since most have been told March or April for the carbon.

On another note, I can't believe Hoyt is so far behind on getting there 2016 bows out.

Went with an Elite but shot Hoyts for awhile, must say I really like the look of the Defiant, looks like the cams are getting pretty big though. Good luck with it.

Awesome. I shot the 34 and the string angle makes it very comfortable to shoot. The RR camo also looks nice.

i shot that bow and almost bought it. the Hoyt D34. the cams look regular sized to me. similar to my Elite E35. not big enough to make me think about it.

BUT..this might be because i also shot the Halon6. the Mathew cams look like Clown Cams. they were big as my face! next to the hoyt, it was giant cams!

Have to admit i've only seen the Defiant in pics and the newest Hoyt i've shot was a 2012 so guess i'm thinking of older cams and I did see a new Mathews and yes the cams are huge!

I took a few shots with the defiant at the local shop, just killing time being bored on lunch break. Ended up ordering one. Very smooth shooting bow. Never pulled a 70 lb. bow so smooth. Quiet too, looking forward to putting it to use this season.

Yeah there saying late April or early May. Supposedly there something wrong with there carbon tube machine.

I went with the 31 non turbo. The draw cycle is so smooth over the turbo. There is some vibration. But the 8" stinger took care of most of that. I almost went ridge reaper but decided on the all black with a green kit. Running 65lbs 27.5 draw 330 injections. Just can't believe how smooth it is. 3 pin black gold verdict.

I went with the 34 nonturbo, which is still shorter and lighter (and much smoother) than my ancient Striker II.

Im waiting on the same set up D34 in RR its been 4 years since a new bow Im stoked!!!!
