@Elkhunter777 and @mtnwrunner, my friend and I found out that the Dwight Schuh frame needed a little reinforcement when using it for half of a boned out bull.

I found out about those pack frames, hauling water in the desert...not using it any more.

Came across this photo today.
"Long Range Hunting" before anyone knew what it was. Been doing it ever since.
1982, remington 700 bdl in 6mm remington, straight leupold 12x scope.
I'm still friends today with the other gentleman and we still shoot together at times throughout the year.

Awesome. I have a Remington Model 600 in 6mm Remington that now belongs to my son. It was my first big-game rifle I started using in 1972!

Bull taken before camo became popular but I still camo'd it up by using clothing die to make black splotches on the fabric. You can see it but it seeped black when it snowed or rained.

I am so glad I found this thread today. I am sure I have some photos to add. Mostly of my dad, uncles and grandpas.
Just like the above poster I have a bamboo fly rod that belonged to my grandpa.
My folks sent all their high school days (back in the 70s) trapping bobcats in the Ely, NV area. I love the stories they tell about those days and the step side 2 wheel drive chevy pickup.
