New in the box 2007 Leupold 100th Anniversary Commemorative Century Limited Edition, 3-9x40, LR Duplex reticle, Golden Ring Hunting scope celebrating 100 years since the founding of Leupold & Stevens, Inc. (1907-2007) Manufactured in 2007, this scope comes with a limited edition laser engraved fixed blade hunting knife and limited edition antique brass coin. The scope wears a gloss black finish, with Leupold’s famous gold ring on the objective bell, and has a unique anniversary logo on the side of the turret. Each scope also has a unique anniversary serial number. The Leupold Century Limited scope comes packaged in a special embossed metal box with a cardboard sleeve. Within the box is a limited edition CRKT fixed-blade knife. The knife is marked with the Leupold anniversary logo, is made of German 4116 steel, and has Turkish Circassian walnut scales. The blade is hollow ground, and has fancy gold-colored bolsters, and has a hollow-ground blade. Also included is a leather sheath embossed with the Leupold logo, and a gold-colored commemorative coin.
New in the box unfired 2006 Remington model 700 CDL SF Limited Edition 100th Anniversary Commemorative .30-06 Springfield rifle marking 100 years since the development of the .30-06 Springfield cartridge. (1906-2006) In 2006, Remington built this rifle to celebrate the passing of the one century mark since the introduction of the iconic .30-06 Springfield rifle cartridge. The rifle features a stainless steel action, a 24" fluted stainless barrel, a satin finished walnut stock with checkering, black forend tip and pistol grip cap, as well as an engraved floorplate to honor the 100th anniversary of the .30-06 Springfield cartridge.
I killed my first whitetail deer many moons ago with a .30-06 rifle wearing a Leupold scope, and I took many more critters in the following years with the exact same setup. Being the lifelong fan that I naturally became of both Leupold rifle scopes and the .30.06 rifle cartridge, once I caught wind that they would be offered, I anticipated the release of both of these products. I immediately mated the two using a new set of Leupold Quick Release Mounts and stepped back to admire this match made in Heaven. The mounting system is designed to allow you to quickly and easily remove and replace the rifle scope with a return of accuracy of 1/2 minute, guaranteed. I have used these extensively on several rifles with excellent results. Everything shown here is brand new old stock, with zero modifications or use, with the exception of a brand new Simms Limbsaver recoil pad that I just today replaced the original pad with, due to it beginning to soften a bit while ageing in the safe. The entire package is in excellent, like new condition as far as my eyes can tell. As I near retirement age my plan has evolved into more of a gypsy type nature, and the multitude of material possessions that I have collected through the decades don't fit perfectly into that scenario. Therefore, I have been and will continue lightening my load as I trim the sails.
I would like to see the package stay together so I will attempt to price it that way, but that's more up to the buyer, so let's see what happens.
The rifle will ship it its original box, placed inside another box. The Leupold can remain on the rifle or be placed in its original box with the associated items, which will be shipped separately.
