I did everything other than upload my finger print file from my phone. I've never been in such a hurry to get a suppressor that I was willing to pay more for it. If I wasn't for the group buys, I never would have bought an Unknown Suppressor's can because my local SOT charges $100 for transfers on NFA items. Unless the item is unavailable everywhere else, like the B&T Tiger was, I'm not paying full retail price plus a transfer fee plus shipping for something. I went 45 years of shooting (got a bb gun when I was 4) without a can and it won't hurt me to wait a couple more weeks to get one from Capital.
Actual timing of my order from Capital...
Suppressor ordered with fingerprint cards 4/17/26
Fingerprint cards delivered 4/25/26 and I got back to town and received them 4/27/26. I had to leave for work out of state on 4/28/26 so I didn't use them. Went to my local SOT to see if I could get my fingerprint file and he was out for the day. On 5/1/26 while out of state, I got electronic fingerprints taken for the ATF while in town and got them sent in to Capitol. This 2 week delay was all on me and the fact I didn't have an EFT file for the ATF.
NFA form 4 signed and submitted 5/4/26
4473 filled out and submitted on 5/8/26
CLEO sent and received on 5/8/26
Form 4 approved on 5/15/26
Suppressor shipped to Capital's Montana dealer on 5/18/26
Capital's Montana dealer made the shipping label to send my Suppressor to me on 5/21/26 and I expect it to be delivered 5/25/26 or earlier.
Overall for a first order and all the things that have to be done the first time, it has gone pretty simple and smoothly.
I'll use them again for an item I can't get locally. If they had the Gnat and Midge in stock, I'd buy one of each today.
