Official Rokslide Group Buy - Unknown Suppressors OG-6S (CLOSED)

Last week I got to compare the Reaper to my OG6-S on my Tikka .243. With ear muffs on, I couldn't really tell a difference between the two. There may have been a bit less muzzle rise and felt recoil when using the the reaper. Standing a ways off to the side without ear protection, the Reaper had a noticeable high pitch "crack" sound to it that the OG6-S didn't. Couldn't really tell if one was quieter than the other, but the 6-S was more pleasant to listen to.

Hey look, tone. ( even crazier down range further)

But hey, that's not actually a real thing apparently.

I just got my 6S today (it was from Capital Armory after a trade in for my you-know-what). I really like the size and weight. I can’t wait to shoot it. For what it’s worth, I used my kitchen scale to weigh my OG65 right (it has about a hundred rounds through it) and it came in at 7.45 ounces. The OG6S weighed 6.3 ounces. Those are some impressive numbers.

Curious to hear your comparison.

How was CA to deal with?

Two years ago they were horrible. Who is going to certify a can on a desk top during bankers hours?
Then they forgot my order while waiting in a snail mail letter from my sheriff who could care less if another can comes into his county. I was approved in two days. Didn't see my cans until a month after my approval.

Are you still stuck with to your door delivery? Can they just send it to my SOT so I can bypass all their ?

Might trade in my Ultra 7 for a 6.

Anymore feedback how these are doing on 6 UMs? I know Form said they're close to an ultra 7.

CA did pretty good, but not great. My last can with them was a couple years ago and I was more impressed then (but I was coming from Silencer Shop so I think that made me easier to impress). This time, the purchase and certification process was easy and reasonably timely. A change they made which I liked was they started the CLEO notification process before stamp approval so the cam would ship sooner after approval.

The only negative I had was the time it took to receive the can after approval (I received it 9 days after approval, 3 of those days were weekend days though). My belief is the likely cause of that was they ship the can after approval to their SOT in your state after approval, so that adds a few days to the time to receiving it.

For buying online, I still like CA.

All of the "mail order" suppressor services are slow. They have processes and procedures they have to follow to be able to offer the option of sending the suppressor to your home. Expect at least 3 weeks plus your stamp approval time. There is no reason to order from Capitol and send it to your local SOT unless you literally can't get the item anywhere else or you just enjoy paying for shipping and a SOT transfer fee making the item cost way more than it should.
