Yea I don’t think most people even know what it is anymore. There are a lot of 257 Robert’s rifles out there though. I see them in the used racks all the time. While it might not sell like the latest fad cartridge it’s been around a long time, the guns exist, and current brass options suck. You are only the 10th person to request that in over a years time. Unfortunately, it is not a casing we are perusing to manufacture. @jgraff08 Only the 6th request for 240 Wby, also not one that we are perusing currently. Sorry!
Honestly idc if they do I'll use win brass in mine but if we could alternate the 2 yrs each place would run it right it would workJust make the 20 people that want 6.8 western a day of brass so we don’t have to hear it anymore. Then roll on to 223!
ADG should have already satisfied those 20 people. Peterson should focus on stuff that’s not already availableJust make the 20 people that want 6.8 western a day of brass so we don’t have to hear it anymore. Then roll on to 223!

While we cannot guarantee any amount of firings due to the variables from setup to setup, we do test fire our casings out to 20 reloads in-house! Using our 300 Win Mag Long casings, if you are meticulous with only a 0.001-0.0015" shoulder bump after the virgin firing, you will likely be able to obtain more reloads than any other Win Mag casing on the market before seeing signs of head separation! How many firings can I expect out of the 300 win mag long cases? I'm not firing over max charges, nor do I intend to. I'm working within stated reloading data. I believe I'm on my fourth firing.
How many requests do you have for 6.8w ?You are only the 10th person to request that in over a years time. Unfortunately, it is not a casing we are perusing to manufacture. @jgraff08 Only the 6th request for 240 Wby, also not one that we are perusing currently. Sorry!
A decent amount, we cannot provide numbers for everything asked about... We don't want to go down that road! How many requests do you have for 6.8w ?
Okay! I'm trying to be very deligent with minimal setback of my shoulder. Aiming for 0.001-0.002". What should I be looking for when it comes to case head separation? What would be the warning signs? While we cannot guarantee any amount of firings due to the variables from setup to setup, we do test fire our casings out to 20 reloads in-house!
