Another concept I teach in soft snow on linear corridors like snowmobile trails
is to keep on going on that initial line and build lining momentum and confidence.
Confidence because pup does not see me plant the bumpers and learns to keep on going
to discover the next bumper.
For example, start with 3 bumpers at 50, 75,100 yards, lining to each
and backing up as pup is headed to each bumper.
Soon pup is lining to 3 bumpers at 100, 200, 300 yards as training progresses.
The reverse the lining direction and repeat on a new snowmobile trail.

As soon as the snow melts, I teach pup to line diagonal across linear corridors.

Built a new reversible backing silhouette this weekend while the weather was bad and also bought a new blank pistol. I'm going to pick up 6 new homers for the loft later this week, then I'll be ready for training season.
