If we survive, I think I prefer the Weird Science fishnet look over the Mad Max leather. Not sure which will incite more fear but if anyone sees me out wandering the neighborhood like this, I'll take firewater and gunpowder in trade for one irritating woman with minimal survival skills:

Several guys on here already have that exact shirt as their base layer.

I think Russia is going to force Ukraine to tap out pretty soon so I don't it going nuclear. Russia is in a dominant position which is only getting stronger. Ukraine is running out of people and other people's equipment to keep this up and I don't see the west being willing to go into WWIII over this.
Are we talking about the same war? Where Russia is running out of soldiers and instituted a draft.

I just hope our military is enough steps ahead that we can hack Russia, China, and North Koreas nukes to where they explode the moment they hit the button.

In the event we aren’t, you thinking drawing tags would get a little easier, or are we just gonna say eff the tags at that point?

No, that’s the master Russian plan. Make the west think your entire military complex is inept and just when they least expect it….here comes the real professional soldiers with the 10 T-14s, 5 Kurgenats-25s and 4 BMPT-72 Terminators to steamroll Ukraine into submission.

The fact that people believe that there’s some reserve of professional soldiers in Russia waiting to be unleashed is laughable. The best equipment they have is the T-90 and their turrets are popping off at a staggering rate. Their senior commanders are laughably inept. They completely lack a professional NCO corp and have no ability to exercise mission command (much less any of the other war fighting functions) at any level. They lack the ability to combine the maneuver warfighting function with the fires enterprise on any meaningful level. Their armor attempts to maneuver without infantry to protect it from the hunter-killer teams running rampant. They lack the ability to sustain their forces in the fight. In a nutshell, they’re a joke and have exposed their ineptitude for the world to see. The Russian military was the gold standard of our adversaries, this 9 month “special operation” has shown the west that we can shift our focus to China while keeping a lazy eye on the Russian bear.

Maybe I’ll eat my words, but I doubt it.

And are sending soldiers with 2 days of military training to the front in a combat role? I saw an article today that estimated the current Russian infantry losses at ~6.5x that of Ukraine.

One wonders where some people get their news.

I think anything is possible with the way it is going and we do not have any truthful information on what is really happening. Most likely the USA destroyed two very expensive underwater pipelines from russia to the eu. Biden had said in the past that would happen, I believe. The eu is in a bad spot now with winter coming and there were tens of thousands demonstrating over the weekend in france to protest the high cost of living.....things are much worse overall than the media reports....so, remember to duck.

If they understood how to properly establish a defense, they could attrit the Ukrainian forces in a matter of weeks. The environment they’re fighting is perfect for any one of the three types of defense. A city is a masterpiece for engagement area development.

I do not understand how anyone can believe the outlook for the Russian military is anything other than BLEAK.

At stalingrad the russians sent people with no training to the front. They gave every third man a rifle and told them to charge....if you did not they machine gunned you down. The germans lost in stalingrad.

The Russians also fought a masterful area defense in Stalingrad. They had a near infinite number of people to send to the front and the ability to sustain their forces with a wet gap crossing (albeit, Soviet sustainment was different than modern standards). The Germans also lost in the Bulge. Bastogne was surrounded for weeks, with little no resupply until the weather broke and the paratroopers there were vastly outnumbered and outgunned. That’s not really a good comparison. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been an extended large scale combat operation to compare it to since Korea.
