Nordic track treadmills

My wife and I have burnt through a couple Facebook marketplace treadmills over the last few years, and we are considering splurging on a Nordic Track X24. Anyone buy one and regret it? I really like the additional incline and decline options and "trail running" features they offer. Unfortunately, we live in a relatively low-income area so finding one used online won't happen within a reasonable distance.

I use my dreadmill only when necessary, for specific incline training or when its below zero and windy. That said, I love my Nordic track. They are very durable and the functionality is very good.

I had one for years (older model) but had to sell it when I moved. There’s no more efficient tool to train hiking up hill than an incline treadmill. You can throw on a pack or weight vest (or not), set the incline anywhere from 20% to 40%, and just start hiking. It’s also excellent for interval work. If I had the space, I’d buy another one in a heartbeat.

It's a big machine with a tall step up, so make sure you have room wherever you plan to put it.

What is the ceiling height for the room you have it in? Our primary workout room has 8ft ceilings

It's in my basement, 92" from floor to ceiling. I was concerned about the height, but I went in to a Scheel's to stand on one, even on incline, and measure from floor to my head. I'm 6'0" and have room to run/hike without issue. It's a little tight, but definitely not hitting my head!

With 8' ceilings, I am not able to fully incline (40%) without interference. I ended up moving the unit to my shop.

I'm 6-3, no issues with the treadmill. When forced to use it, its been great.

I've appreciated all the responses. As soon as the current machine kicks the bucket, I'm ordering a X24.

I've had the older model X22i for nearly two years now and can't complain at all after using it 3x a week on average during that time (all manual mode, no classes). Had a few issues with rollers and belts that were covered under warranty but aside from that it's functioned well. I'm 5' 10" and have no issue on it in an 8' basement.

I don't know where you live but I would just give you a heads up that shipping/receiving can take an agonizingly long time. Where I'm at in Montana they only have one preferred trucking outfit they use and they travel the state once a month if I recall correctly...that's assuming you'd have it delivered and you're not picking it up somewhere I suppose.

All in all I think it's a great machine and I have to assume the newer ones are as good or better.
