You can use some apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and Spotify that are built in to the software but you can't cast from your phone. Like @Svivian mentioned you can side load some apps but I haven't tried it, and iFit is continually changing to try and block that I believe.

Ifit is the bane of my existence. Makes you pay to track workouts on my treadmill? WTF Luckily my garmin does it for me and its really only for the winter I use it.
