WTS NM Unit 53 Landowner Tags - Bull Elk

I've have 2 landowner tags for New Mexico Unit 53 Muzzleloader and/or Rifle Elk. The tags are good from 9 Oct to 31 Dec. You get to pick/hunt 5 consecutive days. $2000 obo per tag.

The ranch is comprised of 500 private acres adjacent to the Urrraca Wildlife Area with Wheeler Peak in the background. The ranch is mostly agricultural fields with piñons, scrub oaks etc…hunting pressure aside from these tags is non-existent aside from late season December 21 - January 22 cow elk hunters.

I will provide the ranch number which is good for both tags and one EM number for each tag.

I’d like to sell the tags together. PayPal preferred.

Some kill shots from last year. Expectation on class I’d say is 275” +.

I’m ignorant to the Nm regs so can you explain how this works? Does this tag replace the typical OTC or draw for most states? Is the NR license a the only additional item needed?

@Plowboy85 the best way to think of a LO tag is it being a trespass fee + a way to circumvent the traditional NM Big game (legally I might add). Tag holder is responsible for a NR license, MB tag, and habitat stamp.

Every year F&G allocates tags to landowners which is a voucher. That voucher is plug ‘n play on the NM F&G website which would generate your “hunt”. Key thing to keep in mind is LO tags don’t follow the traditional F&G hunt seasons. You simply pick your 5 consecutive days and hunt as opposed to having a tag that’s UW or a draw tag where you’re locked into the specific F&G dates.
