Nightforce NX6 Lineup

@sndmn11 correct. Hash marks are a liability at worst, useless at best, for my eastern use. At those ranges Im only using the center of the reticle. Even the very faint hash marks can make it tough to distinguish whats reticle and what is brush. The reticle Ive found to work best for this crossover use is the P3 on my S&B scope—a simple ffp mil dot that looks like a fine duplex at low magnification, but has useable 1-mil marks at mid and higher magnification. It could be a little thicker to really be at home in the woods, but its pretty useable, and imo does a great job for my moderate range use when I draw a tag somewhere else.

Good deal they are going to a more sensible erector range. Now dont F it up by making it short AF so it's more finicky please and thank you. I'd take a 18x LRHS form factor (Long AF) over these stupid super short setups that dont even freaking help anything unless you're playing operator in tight spaces or putting a clip on in front.

Exactly.

There will be 5 different magnification choices along with different focal plans. Official release is tomorrow.

I just hope they finally put some good glass in their scopes..
I wanted so hard to love my 7-35 ATACR but it was basically useless in bright conditions.
Probably one of the worst scopes I've used in cutting through mirage.

That was me. If they went to 30mm format, they could easily hit 27. 25oz would need some titanium or maybe a switch to 7075 from 6061 so they could thin out the tube. It could be done, they would just have to be convinced of the demand.
I’ll take the 2-3oz hit for them not to sacrifice the reliability that they have.

Hypothetically… I’m a fan of grey and green. Tan-anodizing from NF isn’t half bad either.

I have discussed a clear ano/grayish coating with NF many times. I’ll ride them hard again this year at DSC next month.. hard to get away from me when you are stuck in a booth with me for a week
