NFA Approval after January 1

Friend of mine just got the call from his FFL that his cans were approved. Email from the ATF to the dealer said they were no longer sending notification emails to the purchaser since the $200 tax stamp went away. Said it was on the FFL to notify the buyer of their approval.

That sounds like something that whiny little b;tches would say.

I submitted two form 4's for a single shot trust to be transferred to a NFA trust on 1/1 and they were disapproved on 1/3 for a signature issue on the RPQ. Bought a new can through SS shop on 1/5 and resubmitted the denials the same date. Got approval for the new can on 1/28 (SS trust), still waiting on the other 1/5 resubmissions.

Bought another can and certified on 1/8 (NFA trust). Got the disapproval yesterday due to my name on the application not matching the name on the RPQ. The application had my full middle name and the RPQ just my middle initial, dealer and I both missed this. So resubmitted that one yesterday as well as the last can I bought on a SS shot trust and to move it to the NFA trust.

Waiting on another new can that was certified on 1/16. Other than the two that were quickly denied, from what I am seeing 3-4 weeks for approvals.

If the ones from 1/5 hit the 60-day mark, I'll call the ATF to see what is going on. Not too concerned about those one since they are in my possession and just moving them to a trust.

Submitted 1/20 and was approved yesterday at 2/2. No emails other than i got one from Silencer shop after i picked it up saying it was aproved and it was picked up.
