Im not a fan of banning things for the sake of banning things. But as a measure to encourage use of refillable propane it makes sense.

What we all need is more Government regulation and laws. Legislating every minute detail of our lives is pretty ridiculous. Why not just use common sense laws we already have and actually enforce them? It's already illegal to litter. Make the fine higher and enforce it. Even better, if you get caught littering make them spend an entire day picking up garbage. It's easy to write a check, you won't forget picking up trash all day.

California refuses to enforce the most basic laws for good living....like controlling criminal activity. What is more basic than your safety? The entire west coast is going to hell in a hand basket. The northeast coast isn't much better either.

It is a combination of many things he has done, especially Anti 2nd Amendment. But that is not the only thing he has done, along with the socialist legislature, for example:

That’s slightly higher than the 15% for all of last year when he vetoed 156 bills and signed 890, or the similar ratio in 2022, when he blocked some very significant ones. In 2021, he vetoed less than 8%."

1000 new bills (laws). Not just this year, but every year. No one ever thinks about the freedoms that have been lost in all this. So, it is about more than propane canisters, which I do think are purchased by the thousands by people camping in this State.

Same view here. I don't understand the kneejerk reactions I see in this thread. I'd like to see some good, small volume, refillable options. CA being the large market that it is, I expect to see some positive market developments as a result.

I don't understand what point you are trying to make? I don't support anything Newsom does. I am just saying I lived in that state the majority of my life and distinctly remember seeing those almost every time I recreated. The beaches, the mountains, jobsites, the list goes on.

I'd bet that the majority of the 39 million people that live there aren't affected...

I am not defending this at all, but you can buy 1 gallon refillable tanks. With an adapter hose you can use it just like the small green ones. At $11 to exchange a 1 pounder, the 1 gallon tank will pay for itself with one fill. But I guess that most people would think this is horrifically inconvenient.
