New weatherby 4lbs

Wish they chambered the SA in 7mm08.

But the LA 280AI at 4.4# with a 21" barrel is pretty sweet specs if it shoots and handles well.

The 6.5/25 Creedmoor are very enticing to me as a strictly a backpacking gun. For me, these smaller calibers when in a Uber light setup are much easier to shoot than the bigger recoiling guns.

My guess is that with the appropriate scope and rings, and an ultralight suppressor, you could be sub 6 ready to roll.

Why in the world do we need a 4lb rifle again? Oh, because of gram counting sheep hunters. Oh wait, let’s take a light and hard-to-shoot at distance rifle on a once in a lifetime hunt that costs thousands because we can’t carry in a proper setup. 🙄

because 20 miles carrying a 8lb rifle sucks...and i can shoot my ultralight set up...

For kids who can't carry a heavy rifle because their pack is too full of cool rocks lol

I’ll be honest. I haven’t done 20 miles in a single day. I have done 10 tho. Can’t say my 8lb rifle bothered me at all.
