Wildcat Composites out of Canada just dropped their first Tikka stock out of the mold. Looks like it's got the potential to be an excellent UL option for guys looking for lighter fiberglass stock. Saw the details on their Facebook page... Not really a facebook person, so lets see if this work:

The first stock blank ran 17.5 oz. Should finish up in the low 20 oz range depending on pad and finish. Price for a stock blank (he doesn't sell finished stocks) is listed at $299 USD.
Wildcat Composites is a one man shop out of Alberta and the stocks seem to be mostly used in western canada. I bought a Remington blank from him about five years and finished it up for my dad. Finishing one is not a job for a beginner, but it came out well. Will require sanding, filling, bedding, installing recoil pad and painting. Gunsmith or advanced tinkerer stuff. The one I did came out stiff and light, and has been a good stock for him.
If my "fun" account hadn't just been emptied, I'd have one already on the way.
